[cle-release-team] Plan to get to Beta 08 or Release Candidate 01

Hi,

From the CLE Release team meeting, we are targeting getting the following done within the next week so that we can have either a Beta 08 or our first Release candidate


QA the following:

For 10 Blockers which are Fixed/Resolved - review to see if they need QA or Tech review (and make sure they are blockers with respect to the 2.9 release)

Blockers that need fixing within next week:
https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-22448 - RSF Fix (short term fix, not the long term fix for Spring/Hibernate compatibility)

Blockers that need fixing or a decision on how to manage for 2.9 release:
https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-21739 - enforce uniqueness on template + key
https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-22285 - PDA portal fixes - (waiting on estimate for fix)

IE 9 refinement - are any of the IE 9 issues regressions? If so are they blockers? QA team review. Examples:

https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-22591 - Samigo script error with Table of Contents (found in Test Fest)
