[cle-release-team] SAM-2002 - Samigo Import fails on 2.9.x

Hi All,

Trying to do an Import of an XML test on the 2.9.x server, I get a stack trace. I don't see this problem on 2.9.0-rc02 nor on trunk.

I'm not sure what this is related to. I know there was a recent merge of https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1749 , which fixed a problem with https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1718, but I don't know if this is related or not.
