There are less than three weeks left before the 4th annual Teaching with Sakai Innovation Award (TWSIA) competition closes on Feb 7, 2011. Entries are currently being accepted on the OpenEd Practices web site at: www.openedpractice.org/twsia.
Winners of the 2011 award will have their expenses paid to present their winning entries at the 12th Sakai Conference which will be held in North America this June.
Entries will be evaluated against a defined rubric and definition of innovation which emphasizes excellence in teaching, and student engagement.
The award is sponsored by IBM Global Education and supported by rSmart, and Wiley Higher Education.
