Hi All,

We received the following message from a blind student:

"This evening, I was sending an email to my class with an
announcement about a relevant on-campus event. When I pressed enter on
the "email" link on the courses site, I was presented with a page that
had approximately 20 unlabelled buttons on it that JAWS just announced
as "button." I am not sure what any of these buttons do, nor exactly
if or how my email was presented to the class. It concerns me that
there are such a number of these unlabelled buttons and I am wondering
if there is anything we can do to resolve this problem. "

The site is configured to allow students to send email via the Email tool.

Is this a known issue?

Is the Messages tool in 2.9 generally more accessible than the Email tool?
Both use the CK editor.

Thanks for any advice,
Dave
