Hi Lynn,

We faced a similar situation a couple of years ago and submitted a feature request - https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1391. It does not look like there is a way to export a published assessment or copy its questions to a pool.

Thanks,
Anand

Subject: [samigo-team] Help needed: is there any way to export or import published assessments

HI all,

We have an instructor who inherited a class and class materials from another instructor.  The original instructor's course site has a set of published assessments, but the unpublished versions were deleted.  Is there any way to export the published versions or  to use Import from Site to make copies.  I vaguely recall a thread from a few years back about a property that would force "Import from Site" to import published assessments instead of unpublished ones, but I may be misremembering.  Is there any way to do this?  Also, is there any reason why the "Export" option is not available for published assessments?  Seems like it would be a useful feature.

Lynn
