Hi everyone,

Happy New Year! Tomorrow is our first meeting in the new year and the
agenda is to review the proposed changes to the Settings page. The main
change is to
reduce the number of menus from 14 to 4 and each of the proposed new
menus has a corresponding Sakai Confluence page:

Fleshing out Availability and Submissionshttps://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/SAM/Fleshing+out+Availability+a nd+Submissions

Fleshing out Feedback and Gradinghttps://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/SAM/Fleshing+out+Feedback+and+Grading

Fleshing out Presentationhttps://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/SAM/Fleshing+out+Presentation

Fleshing out Type, Intro, Metadatahttps://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/SAM/Fleshing+out+Type%2C+Intro%2C+Metadata

Please review and provide comments directly onto the pages. Thanks to those who have spent time reviewing and commenting so far. We'll devote tomorrow's session to reviewing the comments. If there's time, Keli would like to discuss data loss issues - existing JIRA tickets so far. Also, Unicon is done with developing calculated question type and enhanced matching items and would like a review with the hope of merging the code into SAMigo trunk.

Corresponding JIRA tickets are:
https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1139 (calculated question type)

https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1430 (enhanced matching items)

For those who would like to review these new features, go to
http://samigo.unicon.net/portal
Logins:
Instructor: inst1 / inst1
Student: stud1 / stud1

We can devote the 01.24 SAMigo working group meeting to discussing these new features unless more pressing matters coem up before now and then.

Thanks,
Jackie
