[samigo-team] UCT work on Samigo: Delivery eficeincey and reliability

Hi All,

I thought I would drop a line and let you know about some work at UCT 
will be taking on this year in addition to the extended EMI work we're 
looking to wrap up soon.

Basically we are interested in improving the efficiency and reliability 
of test delivery. The first step will be to see if we can improve on the 
large number of database queries that are generated during test delivery:

During the November 2011 an instructor crafted an exam (400 questions 
with 1 question per section) that exposed this bug. Once we have looked 
at this we plan on examining other areas such as the app server lock ups 
we sometimes see during high contention.
