| accepted for a Birds of a Feather discussion at the 2012 Jasig Sakai
| joint conference in Atlanta.
| 
| Proposal #128: Tests and Quizzes (Samigo) BoF
| 
| The purpose of this email is to provide you with additional details
| about your presentation and the conference. Please note that if your
| presentation includes additional presenters, you are responsible for
| notifying and coordinating session details with them.
| 
| CONFIRMATION
| 
| We are excited that you will be engaging with out communities of
| practice at this year's conference. In the event that you will be
| unable to attend, kindly alert Alan Regan, Conference Program Chair,
| at alan.regan at pepperdine.edu no later than Tuesday, May 1 so that we
| can make adjustments to the schedule.
| 
| BIRDS OF A FEATHER PRESENTATIONS
| 
| All sessions have been scheduled for 60 minutes. At the beginning of
| your session, we ask that you be prepared to introduce yourself and
| any additional presenters. The birds of a feather format is
| open-ended but we ask that you allow adequate time for active
| discussion and a question and answer period. It is important that
| you end your session on time, out of respect for those presenters
| who follow you.
| 
| The Program Committee is still scheduling the date and time for each
| session. Once the tentative schedule is available, we will email you
| the proposed date and time for your session.
| 
| REGISTRATION
| 
| All speakers need to register and pay the appropriate registration
| for the conference. If you have not already done so, don’t forget to
| make hotel reservations at the beautiful Westin Peachtree Plaza,
| Atlanta. The conference dates are:
| 
| June 10 - Pre-conference Seminars and Bootcamps
| June 11-14 - Main Conference
| June 14-15 - Post-Conference Project Collaboration Time and Developer
| Days
| 
| RECORDINGS
| 
| We are partnering with Opencast to capture several of the sessions
| using Matterhorn for post-conference viewing. By accepting this
| opportunity to present, you understand the event may be recorded for
| the purpose of being used and distributed in various formats by
| Jasig and Sakai for educational purposes, including, but not limited
| to the classroom, television, the Internet (including webcasts and
| podcasts), and any other communications medium currently existing or
| later created. You give permission and authorize Jasig and Sakai, to
| videotape, audiotape, photograph, record, edit or otherwise
| reproduce your presentation, and to use it in the formats and for
| the purposes stated above. If you do not wish to have your session
| recorded, please alert us no later than May 15. Please note that
| having your session recorded is neither mandatory nor guarantee! d.
|
