Dear Samigo team
Just a thank you in advance for coming to the Samigo 2.9 Test Fest tomorrow, details below. There is a significant amount of work to do but with your help, we will be able to release Samigo 2.9 this summer.

I am hoping that there will be some people attending who were also at the last test fest to answer questions for newcomers because unfortunately, Jackie and Jasmine are out of the office tomorrow, and I have jury duty. We will each devote a few hours this week to working through the bug list and I'm guessing this won't be the last test fest, but hoping some veterans will be in the titan pad or on the call to help out.

However, we will have one person representing us--Stanford would like to introduce a new QA team member, David McIntyre. He will be joining the call, though since he is new, he will just be signing up for bugs like everyone else.

I am cc'ing the dev list--if you would like to join the samigo-team list in the future and participate in samigo test fests and product planning, see https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/SAM/Samigo+Working+Group

Subject: [samigo-team] SAMigo 2.9 Test Fest

Hi there,

Unless anyone has pressing issues to discuss, I thought we could use the time to verify bugs and enhancements. The last SAMigo 2.9 test fest was conducted on November 29, 2011 and the code has changed since then. I've added a new worksheet to the SAMigoTests 2.9 google spreadsheet titled "JIRA Verification 03/26/12"
https://docs.google.com/a/stanford.edu/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldPCURzarLgdDBaY3ZCc3RLVzljc0tVWUkxYmpEeGc&authkey=CMzG8J0P&authkey=CMzG8J0P#gid=77

This document lists
-new bug fixes (since the last SAMigo test fest)
-fixes that did not get verified during last last SAMigo test fest
-fixes that need to be re-tested - either because the outcome was unclear or else the test failed

Stanford will do some verification between now and April 3rd and will update the worksheet accordingly.

Audio bridge info and the link to the instructions page is below. Calling in is optional but available to those who have questions or want to share info.

Day/Time: Tuesday, April 3rd 11am PT / Noon MT / 2-3 ET / 18:00 UCT
Phone number : (317) 278-7008 Access Code : 484896#
Instructions : https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/SAM/Samigo+2.9+Test+Fest
Lynn created this page for the last test fest, which details instructions for regression testing as well as verification of bug fixes/enhancements. For this go-round, we will focus only on bug fixes/enhancements verification.

Hope you can take part in this 2nd round of testing. If not, feel free to do some testing at a time that's more convenient for you.

Thanks,

-Jackie
