Hello,
Meetings notes are here:
https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/SAM/2011-Nov-1+Meeting+Notes
We discussed QA efforts and setting redesign.
Regarding QA, Lynn proposed a testfest where non-qa folks chip in to spend
2-3 hours on a given day testing the 2.9 release. Lynn, Andrea, and
Jasmine, do you think you can take the lead on this? It was suggested that
we use the next meeting on Nov 15 as one of those hours, since people
already have that blocked out.
Regarding settings redesign, most people liked the idea of combining the
14 different settings categories to a more limited number. Some of the
other aspects need more thought as far as whether they have value,
especially if we implement patches that might solve the same problem. So
my next step will be to a more high-fidelity pass on combining sections to
be ready by Nov 29--will likely share intermediate drafts out before then.
Best,
