The response back in April from Nico to Steve was that

*"I'd be very surprised if the tool embedding strategy would become a
priority again. Going forward, I think it's more likely that we'd look at
REST API-level integration or shared data services (shared content data,
shared profile data, etc.) where it would make sense, but again, this is
currently not a short or medium term priority and is a technically more
challenging effort."*

It hasn't been updated in almost 2 years, so in any case it doesn't do
anything unless you're trying to do something with the old OAE.
