+1

Thanks,
-Noah

P.S.,

I will note that there is some ambiguity in the second piece of this proposal; specifically, "positive production experience" and "subsequent releases". I do not find this fatal for the proposal, but I consider it to have no real bearing on my vote -- more of an informative note on planning.

I think it will need a bit of clarity and likely a follow-on sanity test, once said experience is gathered and said release is identified. That is, there will be some issues with legacy content that should be documented and we should have a clear decision point as to when the default handling of legacy content will change for those upgrading.

I think my notes here share the spirit of the proposal, and so supply my hearty +1 as well as my thanks to those working on it.

A single -1 vote based on a material objection will block action. However, -1 blocking votes can be overridden by a 2/3 majority roll call vote of active TCC members.
