J-F, 
   I think that Aaron's objection was one of principle and had nothing to do with the actual item in the roll call vote.    (AZ, correct me if I am mistaken)

Everyone should be considering the actual change when weighing in.  If you have an objection to the governance lets address that separately rather than mingling the issues.

Remember that we're all on this committee to ensure that S2 evolves into awesome software :-)
