[sakai2-tcc] TCC action item(s) status(es)

Hello,

We identified the following action items for this group to adres
by September:

-- Determine final appropriate merges to the 2.5 code base
-- Triage 2.6-related Jira tickets, and merge tested and verified
fixes to the 2.6.x maintenance branch
-- Determine the scope and schedule for an imminent 2.6.3 release
-- Determine the scope and schedule for a 2.7.1 release
-- Determine the scope and schedule for a 2.8 release

My personal impression is that this work continues, but I think
it;s time to surface it here more formally.

So, if you have updates (planned release dates, status reports,
etc.), let's hear them here.
