[Using Sakai] Sakai & Canvas...

IU left a long time ago and the effects of them leaving has already passed.
Michigan and Stanford left more recently but their commitment was already
drawn down before they left. I'm not minimizing their contributions but
anyone who feeds you a line like that is trying to sell you something. I
would say Sakai 2.8 was the year where the effects where felt the most and
since then the Sakai community has done some great stuff: Lessons, new
skin, new syllabus, leading LTI, Delegated Access, Profile2, resources zip
and drag & drop, tons of new features in Assignments & Test & Quizzes,
Signup Tool, Project Keitai, Student Success Portal, plenty more I left out
(just look at the release notes). There are plenty of equally exciting
things coming too: new gradebook remake, Morpheus redesign of the portal,
no iframes, dashboard, and more. Also, the maintenance team has done a
great job at merging fixes and cutting minor releases with several security
and bug fixes.
