[Using Sakai] Using metadata (objectives) in Samigo (Tests & Quizzes)

Hi all,

I'm trying to gather information--and confirm functionality and/or use
cases--for the metadata you can include in Samigo assessments, in
particular for objectives.

>From what I can tell, there are three ways to add this metadata:

1. Question level--metadata "Objective" field (but seems only
available when editing a question in a pool)

2. Pool level--"Objectives" field

3. Part level--metadata "Objective" field

My primary interest is how this data might be included in statistics
reporting for assessments, since right now I'm not seeing any
correlation (I tried adding objectives in all three places).

I did find the following JIRA:

This seems very promising (and tentative for Sakai 11). So my question
is, would this enhancement be the only way to leverage assessment
metadata in Samigo? Has anyone used this metadata in other ways?
