Hi Katie,

In response to your question (from a while back) about alternative navigation styles in Sakai, please look at our Electronic Course Layout and Presentation (eCLPS)<https://collab.itc.virginia.edu/docs/eclps.pptx> project. This allows the instructor to create pages with links to resources and activities and move away from the provided tool-based navigation. Let me know if you have any questions.

Subject: [Using Sakai] Alternative Navigation Styles?

Does anyone have a skin that uses something other than a static left menu for site navigation? And kind of collapsible list or a menu in a different area of the screen?

If so, do you mind sending me a screenshot? We'd like to develop something quite different than the standard, but are looking for help with examples of variations that are working for others.

Thanks,
Katie
