[Using Sakai] webdav not working on 2.9.x Windows 7

Hi,

I think this problem is solved now :)
It was the BasicAuth setting in Windows 7 that didn't allow me to access without SSL (from the testserver).

Hi and thank you all for your answers,

Unfortunately I haven't solved the problem yet.
Yes Anand I have this row in my code:

lockToken = MD5Encoder.encode(md5Helper.digest(lockTokenStr.getBytes()));

I suppose it was merged into 2.9.x in revision r121978-79. We use Sakai 2.9.x with revision 125253. We also use Windows 7 64bit and tomcat 7.0.39.
I have tested with Cyberduck (requested name was valid, but no data of the request was found). I always get that DNS error by the way, even when I type the wrong path to the server.

Webdav works on our production server with 2.7.x and tomcat 5.5.31, so I guess it has something to do with either tomcat or Sakai 2.9.x!

It was tested on Windows 7 and Windows XP, with Cyberduck, on 2.9.x and tested with Anyclient on 32 bit Windows (not sure if the Cyberduck on Windows 7 was 64 bit or 32 bit).

Hi Anders,

Can you please make sure that you have this patch in your 2.9.x code - https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-23156?

Thanks,
Anand

Hi,

We are testing the Sakai 2.9.x for an upgrade from 2.7.x this summer. Now we can't get webdav to work. When I try to map (we use Windows 7) the http-adress. It just says Windows cannot access.
The Anyclient software doesn't work either it says "Unable to connect to server. Try again?". The mapping works on Ubuntu so I suppose there is some Windows 7 problem. We have set up tomcat 7 according to the Sakai installation manual. We doesn't get anything in the logs and when setting a path to a log for Anyclient the file comes up empty. Does anyone have a clue here?
