[Using Sakai] Course date shift scripts?

I've not heard of anyone creating these before but have had a similar
thought as it could save instructors a lot of time. On the other hand,
we've had some concerns that instructors would simply "accept" all of the
shifted dates without checking them carefully which could create more
problems then it would solve (e.g. homework being due on a major holiday).
This would be a interesting capability to explore creating though.

Subject: [Using Sakai] Course date shift scripts?
Sent by: sakai-user-bounces at collab.sakaiproject.org
Has anyone written any scripts to shift a course by a fixed time offset?
This seems useful when I re-teach a course just a few months later.
Otherwise it takes a lot of click-click’ing to update every assignment.
Seems like a simple database script could just add an offset to every
assignment open/due/accept date.
