[Using Sakai] How to create a URL reference to an assignment in a course?

There is a feature for 2.10 called the iSyllabus Link UI that makes picking
and creating these links easier. It needs code changes to reference,
textarea and msgcntr tools for 2.9.x, and currently isn't planned for a
backport unless 2.10 gets delayed

You could also build your syllabus up in the Lessons tool which also allows
linking.
