[Using Sakai] Configuring Digest as Default for Email Archive for all users

We are considering use the Email Archive tool to send a daily digest to all
our users of the organisation's press releases for the day.  Email Archive
would seem to be the right tool for the job but we want all users to
receive the digest by default ("Send me one email per day summarizing all
emails") rather than individual emails.

Please could I ask for some pointers on how to do this ...
