Hi Chuck,

I'm wondering if you could outline your plans to handle the obvious
conflicts of interest which would arise through your Sakai Board and
Sakai TCC positions, both of which conduct discussions out of public
view (i.e on private lists not open to the community).

While there are other commercial affiliates involved in Sakai, I
believe this could be the first time that we have a representative of a
commercial concern with two or more competing products in its stable
involved in day-to-day Sakai work.

Regards
Stephen

Hello all,

Just to make sure you all hear this from me first.

As of this morning, I am consulting for Blackboard to help develop the
relationship between the Sakai community and Blackboard. I am not
leaving my position as a faculty member at the University of Michigan
School of Information. The blog post and press release have all the
details.

I think that this is a great opportunity for Sakai and think that
Blackboard will be a great addition to the Sakai community.

Questions/comments welcome.

/Chuck
