[Using Sakai] Configuring MOTD by role

Good morning,

Has anyone configured the MOTD (in their instance of Sakai) to be specific 
to the user's role?  For example, we would like to display faculty tips to 
instructors and student tips to students when they login to the system. If 
anyone could offer any assistance for how to configure this or how they've 
customized the MOTD on their instance of Sakai, that would be most 
helpful.
