[Using Sakai] Using Sakai List - Are there faculty-friendly descriptions of changes for Sakai 2.7/2.8 available?

Thanks, Steve!

Having a nice summary of changes that can be read by everyday users -- e.g. faculty and students -- would be very helpful. I'd love to see a page that outlines new features/tools, improvements to existing tools, optional extras, and key bug fixes (that matter to end-users).

My thanks in advance to everyone who is working on these summaries!

Sincerely,

Hi Alan,

I believe there is a list being collated. Project teams have been asked to submit their changes for the versions shipping with 2.8 in a human readable format.
cc'd Anthony.

cheers,
Steve

Our community is currently using Sakai 2.6 (but we have installed Profile2 and Messages & Forums 2.7 on our instance). Later this summer we'll need to decide whether to go to 2.7 or leapfrog to 2.8.
