[DG: User / Using Sakai] Removal Instructions

Since most of my email is now from people who want to be off this
mailing list, I thought I would go to the sakaiproject.org website and
read the instructions on how to actually get off the list. As many
are figuring out, sending messages asking for removal does not work.
Like all email lists, the operation is automated and only responds to
identifiable commands. Below are the purported instructions. I
haven't tried them, because I don't want to leave the list right now,
but I did go to the prescribed webpage and found a big button that
says "unsubscribe" so that seems promising. Try it: http://collab.sakaiproject.org/mailman/options/sakai-user/
Good luck-

Unsubscribing from a list
Simply sending an "unsubscribe" to the LIST address will not
unsubscribe you from sakai-dev. To do so, you have two options:
Send an e-mail message with the subject of "unsubscribe" to:
[list name]-request at collab.sakaiproject.org
You will get a return message asking you to confirm your request.
Or, point your browser to:
http://collab.sakaiproject.org/mailman/options/[list name]
Enter the e-mail address that is subscribed to the list in the box and
then click on the "Unsubscribe" button in the middle of the page. You
will get a return message asking you to confirm your request.
Go to
http://collab.sakaiproject.org/mailman/listinfo/[list name]
At the bottom of the page input your email address and click the
"Unsubscribe or edit options" and modify your account settings.
