[Using Sakai] 2.6 Calendar subscriptions

So just to confirm, the first entry:
calendar.external.subscriptions.user.cacheentries=32
sets how many calendars will be stored in cache? If the 33rd calendar is requested, the first in the list would be purged?

Is there a way in the iCal to define what the activity type is for individual events? Lec / Lab / Exm / etc., such that Sakai will display the appropriate icon?

Thanks!
Chris

Hi Chris,

Yes, for subscriptions made through the Scheduler UI, you can control the cache time and size by specifying in sakai.properties:

calendar.external.subscriptions.user.cacheentries=32
calendar.external.subscriptions.user.cachetime=120

Please see SAK-12852 for all the possible settings.

Thanks,
Nuno

When you subscribe to a iCal via Sakai, how often does it update the subscribed data?

Is there a way to force the update?

Thanks,
Chris
