[WG: Sakai QA] Let the Sakai CLE 2.9.1 and 2.9.2 planning begin!

Hey all,

Congratulations to everyone on a terrific effort to get out the 2.9.0
release. It should be out later today/this evening sometime! Hurray! I wish
there was a way of having a virtual celebration. Please feel free to do
your own version of a happy dance sometime today to join in the
celebration. For extra Sakaiger points, post your video on Youtube and
share the link with the group (I'm half kidding, but would be impressed if
somebody did this, and even more so for "gangnam style").

The TCC and the CLE release team think it is important to get out a 2.9.1
release as quickly as possible, and a 2.9.2 release for Spring. So here is
the plan so far.

Goals
-------------------
* Get out a 2.9.1 release by December 2012
* Get out a 2.9.2 release in Spring 2013 (specific date not yet defined.
Perhaps late February/early March?)


Actions for community
---------------------------------
* By Sunday, November 25  -  Add a label to any Jira containing a bug fix
or feature you think should be included for 2.9.1 or 2.9.2
         - for 2.9.1 use the label "291triage"
         - for 2.9.2 use the label "292triage"
         - please note - 2.9.1 will be focused and limited in scope to have
a hope of a release in December. Please consider this as you tag (label)
your Jiras.
         - also note that any new feature proposals need to be reviewed by
the TCC

* Thursday, November 29 - CLE release team will review the Jira items and
decide which will go into 2.9.1 , which will go into 2.9.2 and which will
be deferred to a future release or rejected (or something like that). CLE
release team will make recommendations to TCC (Technical Coordination
Committee) for any possible new features to be included.

* TBD - TCC reviews new features proposed for 2.9.1 and 2.9.2   (perhaps
this could be scheduled also on November 29, right after the CLE release
team meeting ?)

* November 30 - 2.9.1 activity commences
