FYI - The sakaicle1-trunk.uits.indiana.edu:8181 Accessibility QA server will be rebuilt Friday morning at 9:00 eastern time to get the revised sakai-2.9.0-a01 QA tag. I'll send an email to the list to announce when it is back up again. I'm assuming I don't have to drop the database for this one.

Trunk r100031.  site-2.9.0-a02 tags/binaries released 20 Oct 2011 14:22 EDT with fix included.

Since this is a Maven deployment issue I've also fixed the sakai-2.9.0-a01 QA tag as of r100041. I recommend that QA admins redeploy the tag to a clean Tomcat 7.0.22 after performing an svn update.  I believe only qa3-us is running the tag as well as a Longsight QA server.

Otherwise, I am happy to generate a sakai-2.9.0-a02 release which will be identical to the a01 tag as or r100041.  Just let me know if the latter option is preferred.

The problem is in the assembly deploy.xml:

I'll fix it now and release site-2.9.0-a02.  I think the couple of QA admins who have deployed the alpha tag should pick up the new site release and deploy it as part of the alpha 1 tag since this is involves a Maven bug rather than an issue with the site tool itself.  Apologies for the inconvenience.

I'm trying to follow the instructions at https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/DOC/Manually+Adding+a+Tool+to+a+Sakai+Site, in attempting to unstealth the Lesson Builder tool in Sakai 2.9.0-a01. When I login as admin, and go to the Sites tool in the Administration workspace, the tool doesn't load and no entries are generate in the log of any failures.

I noticed that this is also the behavior of the sites tool as found in the Administration workspace on http://qa3-us.sakaiproject.org:8086/portal/site/~admin/page/~admin-100 and http://nightly2.sakaiproject.org:8082/portal/site/~admin/page/~admin-300.

I'm trying one of the alternate techniques listed on the Manually Adding a Tool to a Sakai Site page but since it hasn't been updated since 2007, I'm wondering if there is a newer way to do this.
