[WG: Sakai QA] Sakai and Oracle 9

Hello,

Apologies for the cross-posting.

In Los Angeles, the Sakai CLE TCC discussed dropping support for 
Oracle 9 and earlier with the release of 2.8.1, where "dropping" 
probably means "no longer assuring that future versions work on 
it by QA testing, etc." This would allow people to use some newer 
features if required.

Many institutions are using later versions of Oracle (10 and 11) 
as are, I think, all the QA servers.

If you are using Oracle 9 out there, please speak up.
