[WG: Sakai QA] Search index permgen errors in 2.8 with search disabled?

How big does it need to be for 2.8?

I just tried upping the permgen size to 2GB in a 4GB tomcat and am still getting the errors with no active sessions.

Our production 2.6 servers are running at 512m permgen size without problems.
