sakai-2.8.0-a02 is out; we should discuss how best to ramp up work on documentation, conversion script, properties and permissions reviews that we could align with release of the next tag (2 Nov 2010).  It's also time to consider (after a ticket review) if and when we should schedule sakai-2.6.4 and sakai-2.7.2 maintenance releases.
