Hi all,

I noticed while testing using Web-browser plugins that there are a number of defects reported around style sheets. I have found a maven plugin that reports CSS issues and have written a very simple pom.xml file.

To run CSS validation against your source use the following simple recipe:

(1) Download the pom.xml file attached at: http://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-19736
(2) Change the line <directory>/home/aberg/Desktop/defect_density/sakai-2.8.0-b01</directory> to point to your own source directory and run
(3) mvn css-validator:validate

If you clean up any CSS issues, can you please add as a subtask or a linked Jira for SAK-19736<http://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-19736>
I am curious to know if these are real defects or just low level fluff, so please comment in reply to this e-mail if you have an educated opinion.
