[WG: Sakai QA] 2.6 QA Push Needed - additional information

Greetings everyone,

Thank you all for the offer to help. In response to some requests, here are some areas of interest in the 2.6 release and instructions for the reporting results of your testing.

Highlights for 2.6

*         View Site As (SAK-7924<http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/jira/browse/SAK-7924>): note: this functionality is functional in many tools and needs to be verified in each functional area.

*         Assignments (testing completed)

 *   Messages
 *   Timeout Alert
 *   Gradebook
 *   Blog
 *   Samigo
 *   rWiki WYSIWYG FCK Editor (SAK-8535<http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/jira/browse/SAK-8535> and SAK-15866<http://jira.sakaiproject.org/jira/browse/SAK-15866>): Note - do not test pending changes to tool.
 *   Note: all tools and functional areas need to be tested as well.

REPORTING QA RESULTS
On the  2.6.0 QA Changes, Assignments & Testing Status page<http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/QA/2.6.0+Changes>.

1)     Enter your name to the tool you are testing (more than one person can test a tool).

2)     Use existing test scripts if possible (Test Conditions and Scripts<http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/QA/Test+Conditions+and+Scripts>). Note: these scripts maybe outdated or non existant.

3)     When you have completed testing please fill out a Testing Summary Template<http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/confluence/download/attachments/44958135/Testing+Summary.doc?version=1> for that tool.

4)     Post the completed test summary and any comments on the confluence page<http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/QA/2.6.0+Changes> for review.

5)     Add Status Keys [cid:image001.gif at 01C9A43D.E8BC3AA0]  = QA PASS   [cid:image002.gif at 01C9A43D.E8BC3AA0]  = QA FAIL   [cid:image003.gif at 01C9A43D.E8BC3AA0]    = TENTATIVE  to the status column.

6)     Report any new bugs in Jira.
