As you pointed out, Seth, this was broken in 2.5.0, 2.5.1, 2.5.2,  
2.5.3, and 2.5.4.  And nobody noticed until someone who is running a  
pre-release version of 2.6.x asked about how to do the conversion. I  
heard from four institutions that are running Sakai in pilot or  
production who are storing resource bodies in the database.  Only one  
of those intends to convert and if I understood correctly, it is not  
an urgent issue for them as long as they are able to make the  
conversion sometime soon.

It should not hold up the 2.6.0 release, IMO.  But if you have a fix  
and want to rush it through, that's fine with me.
