Huge thanks to you Megan for all that you have done over the years for
Sakai.

You were one of the first people I met within the Sakai community and your
efforts to encourage and support our students engaging on QA (along with
others) was one of the reasons that I got more more involved with the
community. We still have the Sakaiger that you gave to our students
proudly displayed in our main office area!

It has been a great honor to work with you and I hope our paths cross
again in the future!

Josh

Hi everyone,
For the past 6+ months I’ve been managing two teams at IU (LMS and a
Kuali Student dev team). Starting this week 100% of my focus is going
to be on Kuali Student. It’s a new subject area for me, so it’s exciting
to be fully embarking on soemthing new. Conversely, it’s also sad to not
be working on Sakai L It’s been very rewarding to work with such great
people and I will miss it. I truly feel blessed to have had this
experience. Given this change in my day-to-day job, I think it’s
appropriate to go emeritus status on the PMC.

IU’s LMS team transitioned to another manager, Randall Embry. Those of
you who have been on the project some time should recognize his name – he
was involved in the early work around OSP. Please contact him (
rpembry at iu.edu) in lieu of me. It would also be great if you could update
the security list to include him.

Long live the Sakaiger!
Megan
