It has been a tremendous pleasure working with you over the years and
particularly the more recent collaboration around learning analytics. It
is always great to see people moving onto new challenges and opportunities
but you will be missed!

For those who have not heard, I have some bittersweet news.
I will be transitioning from my senior architect role at Unicon to
lead architect for education at Elsevier (http://www.elsevier.com/)
starting 20 August. Today is my last official day at Unicon.
This is an opportunity for me to take my career and architecture
skills to the next level and I am sad to be moving on from the
outstanding Unicon family.

I will continue to be involved in education so I hope to see some of
you in various communities (most likely related to IMS and learning
analytics in the nearer term). I will probably be heads down for a
couple months while I get used to a new culture/environment but I plan
to stay involved with open source as time allows.

I probably will not be able to be very active with Sakai for the rest
of 2014 but I'll know more in a month or so. Apereo and Sakai are
great communities and I will miss being involved at the level Unicon
(and others) have allowed me to be over the past 10 years.
Thanks for all the support, encouragement, fun times, and learning
opportunities. You can stay in touch with me via linkedin or whatever
contact method you prefer (http://tinyurl.com/azprofile).
