I am joining JFL in a -1 for the following reasons:

- It is confusing and a waste of time to move projects from /svn to
/contrib. As Anthony stated, we abandoned this practice in the most
recent deprecations.

- It is simple to note the deprecation in a top-level README file in
Subversion and other documentation (release notes, etc.).
