Thanks Doug,

Thanks for the email and call to action! The division of working groups
looks fine to me and seems like a good way to structure a way forward.

I would be happy to contribute staff resources and time to both D & E
groups (Interface & OAE) as part of CSU's mobile learning project. I would
be also willing to put my hand up to lead some this work - the Interface
area would be my preference.

I personally can't offer a lot of technical skills but have a background
in design, web and multimedia. We will have two new staff - a graphic and
interface designer and a UI developer - joining the project by the end of
the year who will be resources specifically allocated to work on mobile
across a number of areas in the university. The UI developer will have
their primary focus on contributing to mobilising Sakai.

The schedule for our project has us working to mobilise some of the CLE
tools we will be running in Hybrid before moving onto our OAE work in
around May 2012. We might not be able to contribute a lot in the February
code bash but we would definitely like to take part and contribute where
we can.

My team would be more than happy to contribute to the initial discussions
and planning for the direction of the mobile sakai project and to help
things get underway. I would love an opportunity to get a broad snapshot
of what the community is doing and to understand where are our common
points. Could I suggest an online meeting of some sorts or a collecting an
overview from each institution of what they are working on and their
priorities for the next 6-12 months??

Looking forward to it all kicking off!

Cheers
