[Building Sakai] Archiving sakai sites

I can see how the terminology can be confusing. "Archive" is used in two
different contexts with two different meanings. It might be worth thinking
about a different word or phrase to be used in the Preferences area.
Perhaps something like "Hide from Display" would be clearer. Archive does
tend to have the meaning, digitally, that something special is happening to
the content that moves it somewhere that is still accessible and available
but not as visible or easy to get to.

The Dictionary.com definition of Archive is:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/archive?s=t
(for Digital Technology)
* a long-term storage device, as a disk or magnetic tape, or a computer
directory or folder that contains copies of files for backup or future
reference.
* a collection of digital data stored in this way.
* a computer file containing one or more compressed files.
* a collection of information permanently stored on the Internet

In Sakai we are usually referring to the 3rd definition of archive when we
discuss it. So I think "Hide" makes a lot more sense than "Archive" for the
Preferences context.

2 cents.
