Thanks for the response. I have put in an internal proposal for 8 weeks work on a browser by a student. They would write the CK Editor plugin but we would not expect them to get their hands dirty with java code. Let's see how it progresses.

Adam,

There is no activity yet for a Content Item resource picker. But it would not be hard. I do not know how hard it would be to put into the editor.

This is on my list of things to do but I am kind of holding back opening a bunch of new things until Morpheus is landed in trunk.

I ask because we may be able to get somebody to write the CKEditor plugin but working on the Content Items Message spec & LTI would probably be out of scope.

Anyone have a very rough guess how long the CKEdit plugin would take to write if the other bits of the jigsaw were already in place. Say, to the nearest week.

I haven't heard of anyone working on a specific implementation, but the bullet point is essentially implementing the new Content-Item Message spec in Sakai, which will require changes to LTI and a plugin for CKEditor. Marked as a stretch goal on that page, but would be nice to have for sure.

Hi all,

I noticed a "LTI resource picker" on the roadmap [1] for Sakai 11. Are there any more details on this? Perhaps a JIRA that tracks it's developments?

Regards,

Mark
