[Building Sakai] Fwd: Password reset emails are not getting through to .mil domains

Hello,

We have an issue where the 'from' address for password reset emails is '
helpdesk at dliflc.edu', the us.af.mil mail server is checking with that
domain to see if the original sender/mailserver is valid. The email is
originating from the DLI Sakai server at IP the address but the dliflc.edu
domain has not been told to accept email from that IP and so rejects
it.This is preventing password reset emails from getting to users with this
.mil suffix.

They are hoping to simply change the password reset notification and new
user account notification emails such that they have the same sender, etc.
settings as the notification of enrollment in a course notification emails

Can you tell what issues, if any, would come from simply changing the
password reset notification and new user account notification emails such
that they have the same sender, etc. settings as the notification of
enrollment in a course notification emails, which are currently working for
these users?

Thank you,
