[Building Sakai] Sakai Demo data

I started Sakai in demo mode by adding  -Dsakai.demo=true  in JAVA_OPTS.
After this I can see the data in all the CM tables ( CM_ENROLLMENT_T, CM_MEMBERSHIP_T etc..)
Just wanted to know how to see this data in the Sakai Portal. Do I need to configure anything to see this data on the portal.
Pl. advise.
