Thanks, Ill use the archive tool then. For some reason I thought Lessons
wasnt included in the packages generated by that tool.
Regards.

There is a Sakai archive format. Thats how I would move between instances.
For some reason its only been made available for administrators, but
certainly your admin can produce packages that preserve all the details of
the various Sakai tools.

Hello,
Thanks for your response. Yeah, we were using the CC process because we
needed the content in a different instance of Sakai, so duplicating or
importing from site were not useful. Well try to think in a different
solution.
Thanks again and regards.

How are you exporting and importing?
The normal approach for copying between two sites uses duplicate site or
import content from site in Site Info. This should preserve everything in
Lessons.
I conjecture that you are using Common Cartridge export and import.
Unfortunately the Common Cartridge format is a lowest common denominator
approach, which does not preserve all aspects of the lesson. In particular,
Common Cartridge has no way to specify that at item should be shown inline
rather than as a link. So this is the best I can do given the format.
Ive considered making an extension to the format. Unfortunately the format
isnt really designed to support extension, so changing it is technically a
violation of the spec. I may end up doing it anyway, as an option the user
can request, but probably not for Sakai 10.

Hello,
Were trying to move some Lesson Builder contents from a site to another.
The export works alright, but when importing every text is transformed into
an html file, so our well structured lesson becomes a succession of links.
The content is there, our concern is the display. Here you have an example
of what I mean:
Original lesson:

Imported lesson:

Is there any workaround or known solution to this problem?
Thanks and regards.
