[Building Sakai] Sakai App Builder

We have a couple in-house tools originally built with app builder.  They require only infrequent and minor maintenance -- nothing involving any purposeful use of app builder.  We just edit the source files originally made by app builder and the Maven builds work fine.

It seems we don't need app builder to continue like this, right?, and can ignore its falling into disuse.  Just want to make sure we anticipate a maintenance need if there will be one.  Thanks.

The app builder plugin has not been updated for a very long time. You should instead look towards the Maven archetypes:
