[Building Sakai] neoChat white space above users with over 10 users in site

No, it was a problem I created that I fixed in the portal.css where we decided to hide “show offline users” and I changed the display: none, but the other styles in the id were still pushing the list down, so I finally figured out I had to remove the rest of that id’s styling and that worked.

I thought I replied to the list about it already too.

Thanks for asking!

Hi Kim,

Have you opened a Jira for this issue?

I wonder if there is a way to reproduce the issue without having to have 10 people log in at once.

Thanks,
Neal

We have Sakai 2.9.3 and have noticed when a course site has more than 10 users, in the chat window, a large white space, about the same size as the number of users on the site, appears above the heading “In this site” and moving the list of users down when more than 10 users are on the site.

If users drop off the site, the white space remains unless the page is refreshed.

I can’t figure out why this is occurring. Has anyone encountered this or have an idea what I need to look at?

Thanks!
