On the Portfolio list [1] an email just came through:

"Hello Sakai Portfolio Community

In honor of summer in the northern hemisphere, we will NOT meet on Monday,
August 4.

Please plan to join the Sakai Portfolio Community call on Monday, September
8, for an updates on the release of Karuta 1.0 and plans for migration from
OSP to Karuta.

Meanwhile if you have have questions or concerns, please feel free to
contact me.

Janice"

That might be a good place to get your questions about the Portfolio
timeline answered.
