[Building Sakai] MOTD permissions

Thanks Adam,

This is similar to what I tried and I did now do what you suggested, but
still not getting it to work, I must be missing something.
This is Sakai 2.9.3

I did the following;

   - Log in as admin
   - Go to Realm, */site/!admin*
   - Add Role 'author'
   - Give the role the following permissions:
      - annc.*
      - site.visit
   - Go to Sites tool and select *!admin* site
   - Add page and add MOTD tool to page
   - Go to Worksite Setup tool and edit *Administration Workspace*
   - Add person with *Add Participants*
   - Set the role to 'author'

Did not work
I also;

   - Log in as admin
   - Go to Realms, */announcement/channel/!site/motd*
   - Add role 'author'
   - Give the role all the* annc.** permissions

Still not. Any Ideas?
