[Building Sakai] emailarchive not working properly

hello all,

I can successfully send a test message to the James server on port 8025
using telnet  https://workaround.org/ispmail/lenny/test-mail-through-telnet
and in this case, email archive tool is archived the test email
successfully.
However, if I click the email archive link and try to send a message, the
site members do not receive the email and the message is not archived,
either.
Tomcat is silent and james log is quiet.
There is not error /hint on james/var/mail folders either.

Where should I start to debug in order to resolve this issue?
