[Building Sakai] Profile Pictures

If you are using the latest version of sakai, it should be profile2.

If you have source code, see if you could find profile2/tool/src/webapp/tools/sakai.profile2.xml,  then you are using profile2 tool.

You probably need to setup some properties for user to use url for their profiles and the url has to be saved in PROFILE_IMAGES_OFFICIAL_T.  See the config regarding image type
example:  profile2.picture.type=url/upload

Hello Sakaiers.

   Im having trouble since some time implementing studants profile pictures from a URL so teachers can see theyr beautifull faces on theyr profiles.

   I dont know IF im using profile2 or 1, is there a way to check that ?

  Besides that, is there any tutorial/guide to use those pictures ? All pictures are external and doesnt need to be loaded in sakais database.
