[Building Sakai] [apereo-announcements] UPDATE: Sakai SVN repos transferred and now available (committers reset your passwords)

I am experiencing an issue building 2.8 code when it interrogates the Sakai maven repositories. This is from code straight out of msub.

It results in issues like this:

[INFO] snapshot org.sakaiproject.lessonbuilder:sakai-lessonbuildertool-components:1.4.3-SNAPSHOT: checking for updates from sakai-maven2-snapshots
[WARNING] *** CHECKSUM FAILED - Checksum failed on download: local = '7b9eb1dac48e74fa5f418bc456cb410f88b81d98'; remote = '<html>
<head><title>302' - RETRYING
[WARNING] *** CHECKSUM FAILED - Checksum failed on download: local = '7b9eb1dac48e74fa5f418bc456cb410f88b81d98'; remote = '<html>
<head><title>302' - IGNORING

And then a build failure, sometimes listing the offending repo pom, which has contents:

<html>
<head><title>302 Found</title></head>
<body bgcolor="white">
<center><h1>302 Found</h1></center>
<hr><center>nginx</center>
</body>
</html>

This is because the applications make reference to http://source.sakaiproject.org/maven2 - but the actual URL is http (purepoms has only http). Previously this worked fine with a server side redirect which doesn’t look like we have on the new environment.

Could we have that corrected?

Thanks,
Steve
